Blackberry Festival

At the blackberry festival, you will be treated to a farm tractor tour guided by the owners. Enjoy the petting zoo, corn maze, little train ride and playground. With each paid admission you will receive a container to pick your own berries. We will also have food for purchase - tacos, salad, flatbread pizza's, gelato and smoothies. You can purchase tickets online for $6 per person before the event. On the day of the event it will be $7 per person. Children 4 and under are free. Join the Blackberry Festival on June 18, 2016 from 9am to 4pm. To help you enjoy your berries you picked fresh from the festival, here is a recipe for a Muddled Blackberry gin recipe to spice things up a bit more.

1. 2 oz Gin

2. .75 oz

3. fresh lemon

4. 7 blackberries

5. .75 simple syrup

6. 4 oz Ginger Beer

In a highball glass, muddle the blackberries and simple syrup, fully breaking the fruit. Add in crushed ice, gin and lemon. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a blackberry and lemon twist. Enjoy!!
