We Helped Celebrate over 100 Years in Woman in Aviation

A Shot Above Entertainment was honored with the task of celebrating and honoring over 100 years of Women in Aviation. This not only was a thrill to us, but we got to meet some true American Heroes.

Among the honorees were:

Fran Bera, aviation pioneer, over 75 years active as pilot and instructor

Jacqueline Cochran (in memoriam), aviation pioneer

Diane Dowd, National Guard, pilot, Medevac, corporate pilot

Laura Goldsberry-Tenant, Naval test jet pilot

Colleen Nevius, Naval test jet HELICOPTER pilot

Shirley Powell, pilot, first female Master Chief Sergeant, retired in 2000

Patty Wagstaff, one of world’s top airshow pilots, aerobatics, stunt pilot, aerial coordinator for films

Capt. Wendy Lawrence, NASA astronaut, retired

Kim Nicole Reed-Campbell, senior US Air Force pilot, served in Operation Iraqi Freedom
